Day 2 in Florida_August 1, 2010

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here blogging to you on a Sunday evening in beautiful but rainy Florida!! I am close to Orlando and I got my vacation plan mixed up because we are going to Disney World tomorrow and it is going to be a 3 hour car ride but I can take it. My family and I are going to have Chinese dinner at a friends' house today and today is our last day with them. I am going to really miss them because they are both really good cooks!! Right now, my family and I are watching a video of their friends' trip to Curacao 3 summers ago or the summer of 2007. When watching the video I saw turtles, exotic fishes, eels, sharks, shrimp, krill, and many types of coral and this is place I want to go to when I am on summer vacation. Have to eat dinner soon, going to enjoy it too, everybody have a terrific summer, blog to everybody soon, BYE!!

Almost to Disney World!!

Hey everybody this is pinkroses here blogging to you on a Thursday evening and guess what I am going to Florida tomorrow!! I am at my cousins house in Virginia and I am spending the night at their house and I am having a great time. My mom, brother, and dad had a great dinner with delicious mashed potatoes, chicken, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, 2 cinnamon buns with icing, and cupcakes. My aunt and I made the cupcakes called funfetti and it was soooo good and even better with icing on top!! It took a while to make them but it was worth it and everybody loves them. Have to go to bed early tonight but I will enjoy the time I spend with my family, see you all later, BYE!!

TOO HOT...WELCOME TO SUMMER!!

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here blogging to you on a Sunday afternoon!! Has anybody been enjoying the weather in the little state of Maryland? Just kidding!! It so hot outside that I think you could fry a egg on the sidewalk. Today it is above 103 degrees and everybody it sweating their butts off even with a ice-cold drink of lemonade or water. Yesterday it was almost up to 115 degrees but the heat is still unbearable and I hope I can manage when I go to Florida this week. I know its been over a month since I posted another blog entry and I am really sorry because after this blog entry I won't be posting for 2 weeks, gonna be in Florida enjoying my time with my family!! I hope everybody puts on plenty of sunscreen today before playing outside, you are probably going to get sunburn if you don't!! Enjoy the rest of the summer and I will blog to everybody right after I get back from Florida, LATER!!

SCHOOL'S OUT!!

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here blogging to you on a Wednesday night!! Yesterday, at 1:50 p.m. at Magothy River Middle School teachers said their goodbyes to all their students because school ended and now I get to enjoy my 3 months off from school in the summer. While my brother is volunteering at the Maryland Archives I am going to be home alone for 8 hours until my parents and brother back home at 4:00 p.m. 2 weeks from now I am going to a summer camp at Anne Arundel Community College called Twilight: Novel Beginnings and I am buzzing with excitement. Since Camp Rock Star was cancelled for the week of July 12 through the 16, my parents signed be up for another camp called Chef's Challenge which I learn how to cook breakfest, lunch, and dinner foods for my whole family to enjoy. This camp is 7 hours (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and that means I eat lunch in the college's cafeteria but no worries for me because I have eaten there before. One of my best friends named Rylee is having her 13th birthday party at Annapolis Mall to see The Twilight Saga: Eclispe and can't wait to see Taylor Launter as Jacob Black, I know all the girls at Rylee's birthday party are going to be so starstuck when they see him on-screen. I think everybody knows when Eclispe comes out but if you don't know when it comes out, it's on June 30 (I am seeing on the premiere day for Rylee's birthday!) If you like the books that Stephanie Meyer wrote and the movies so far then you better see it as soon as you can!! Have to eat dinner soon, have a great summer, LATER!!

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here blogging to you on a Saturday evening!! I only have 2 days left of school and I am loving the warm weather and all the sunny days that keep coming my way. Today I just went to a picnic near Fort Meade with my family and saw many friends from Germany that I haven't seen for years. All of them said I was going up and that the last they saw me I was barely 2 feet tall and was almost a year old. Now I am 13 and all of my parents' friends ae surprised at how much I have grown. The picnic was very long and my family and I only left a hour ago. When I got back from the picnic I took a soothing bath with a Think Pink! bath bomb from a handmade cosmetic store called Lush. It turned the clear bath water into a bright pink color and it smelled like vanilla and lavender, beautiful smell!! My hands are so soft and Lush's handmade cosmetics really work. This store is the best and I hope it keeps running for a long time, that's how much I luv it!! Before I wrap up this blog entry I like to say that I celebrated my Mom's birthday yesterday and she loved her cards and presents. She got many beautiful things from Lush and a new blender that she always wanted, it's from Cuisinart. That's it for this blog entry and I hope everyone has a great summer, LATER!!

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here blogging to you on a Saturday evening!! It is almost the end of the school year for me and I only have a week of school left and then it's bye-bye to school and hello to summer for 3 months!! I start eighth grade after summer break and I will be taking many encore classes that weren't available to 7th graders this year and I am SO EXCITED!!! Before, eighth grade starts I am taking a summer course at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) and it is called Twilight: Novel Beginnings and this is where I get to learn about romantic novels and how to set up my own romantic story, this is the perfect choice for ME!! My other course, Camp Rock Star, was cancelled because only 3 people signed up (yep, that 3 people includes me) and there was so little students that my instructor didn't make enough money to keep the job, bummer!! My family and I have a very busy summer with vacations, to summer camps, appointments, and volunteering at museums and this is what I am going to do this summer with my whole family. Before, I wrap up this blog entry I like to say I am going to Florida this summer for 2 weeks with my family and we are going to Disney World and Universal Studios and to visit my parents' friends that I haven't seen for eight years!! I have a lot of homework this weekend including Math, Science, Intro to French, Social Studies, and one of my encore classes called FACS. My teachers are given me 3 tests for the last full week of school and this includes Science, Social Studies, and Intro to French and I am studying like there is no tomorrow and with all my studying I get good grades on my tests and maybe straight A's on my last report card of the year, crossing my fingers!! This Wednesday I have many things going on, I have my last mantory meeting for the National Junior Honor Society on Wednesday morning, I get my 2009-2010 yearbook at 7th grade lunch, I start my Science Benchmark on Wednesday and goes though Thursday, and I have Field Day right after my Science Benchmark. Have to eat dinner soon and blog to everybody really soon, LATER!!!

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here blogging to you on a Sunday morning!!! I got back from church just 30 minutes ago and I been pretty bored so I am going to post a blog entry!! People that read that my blog haven't seen me post for 3 weeks, sorry!!! I have been busy with homework and studying for major tests for the end of the school year and there is only less than 14 days until school lets out on June 15th for Anne Arundel County Public School (AACPS) students, YIPPEE!! On Thursday night, the MRMS Choral Program did a spring concert and it was a blast!! The concert was called Turn the World Around and the 7th grade sang Bridge Over Troubled Water with two solos and our last song was my fav one of the night called 'Cross the Wide Missouri and it was so beautiful!! One of my classmates played the flute for the song and made it even more beautiful!! This was a great night for me and Mrs. Gresko who said the whole entire choral program was beautiful and I am so thrilled to be in Chorus 2 next year and Mrs. Gresko is still teaching. Before I wrap up this blog entry, I would like to note that my brother Sean is celebrating his 18th b-day today and I am so exicted to see Iron Man 2 at 6:10 and before seeing the movie we are going to have a birhday dinner at the mall's restaurant called Red Robin's and this is going to be a fun night because it's going to give my brother a break from his pile of homework and come celebrate his b-day with his family. My news is not over yet because after my brother's b-day celebration, it's Memorial Day and everybody in the family is taking off and my brother and I have off to honor our troops who are fighting to save and protect us. My last news of the day is that my Dad's b-day is on Tuesday or the first day of June (just two days after my brother's b-day!!) but sadly I have to go back to school that day and Mom and Dad are both going to work again on Tuesday but we are still going to celebrate. Have to do homework and piano very soon, bye and blog to eveybody in a week, LATER!!

Hey everybody its pinkroses blogging to you on a Tuesday night!! I did post a blog entry on the last day of April but I accidentally erased it the day I posted it on my blog but it was only on for 5 minutes until it got erased, OOPS!! Before I start the news for my blog I would like to say for anybody that knows my blog address to make a comment and post it, PLEASE!!! I got inducted in the NJHS or National Junior Honor Society on April 29 about two Thursdays ago and I love being a part of it and I am so excited that I am in it!! Two weeks ago on April 30 I got my report card and I got a B in Language Arts, A in Math, A in Intro to French, A in P.E., A in Science, B in Social Studies, A in Chorus, B in Tech Ed, and a B in Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) and I still pulled off for Honor Roll, three times in a row, YIPPEE!! This Friday, May 14, I get my interim and it shows all my grades for all my 9 classes I take, I usually do well, so I have no problem. My last note before I wrap up this blog entry is that this summer after 7th grade is over I have two summer camps and I am so excited!! My first summer camp is Twilight: Novel Beginnings which is June 28 through July 2 and each day is 3 hours long. In this camp I get to learn how to construct a story correctly and learn other famous books that will help my campers and I to construct our own stories. After the Twilight: Novel Beginnings is done I go to Ohio to visit my Mom's Mom and some of my other relatives to enjoy the summer. I stay in Ohio for a little over a week and come back days before I start my next camp. My next camp is called Camp Rock Star and I get to use software and other technology to make music videos, songs, soundtracks, or podcasts. The Camp Rock Star camp lasts through July 12 though July 16 for 7 hours each day, EXCITED!! I am also going to Florida this August to visit my parents' friends and to enjoy Disney World, Universal, and many other places. My family and I are going to stay in Florida for 2 weeks and then come back to Maryland on August 16, have to eat dinner soon, BYE!!

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here blogging to you on a Friday afternoon!!! Before I start talking about all the stuff I've done I wanted to say that I haven't gotten many comments lately so I was hoping that Mom, Dad, or Stewart and Labbe could send me a comment, thanks!!! I am so proud that spring is finally here and the beautiful and warm weather is coming around again. I have a few downsides about spring though. The only allergy I have is to pollen and that's one downside. I also hate the bees (only female ones, they are the only bees with stingers!) All in all, spring is a wonderful season just like the rest of them!! Hope everyone has been enjoying the warm, beautiful weather because tonight were having thunder and lots of rain, YIPPEEE!!! The best part of rain it washes away most of the pollen away and decreases the pollen level in the state. Less people sneezing, coughing, or wheezing, THANKS FOR THE RAIN!!! One last thing before I wrap up this post, I got a note back from the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and I got in!!! Well, the Induction Ceremony is on April 29, 2010 and them I'm in, SO EXCITED!! Have to go to piano soon but blog to everyone soon, bye, LOVE YOU ALL!!

Hey everybody its pinkroses here blogging to you on a Friday night. My spring break just started today after school ended and I am enjoying it already. Tomorrow I am going to catch a movie with my brother and Mom it's called, " Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and I am going to see it around 2:10 or 4:30 p.m., SO EXCITED!! The movie is acutally based on the bestselling series and I just read the 1st book of the series and it was fanatastic! The book was so funny and I can't wait to read the second book. My family and I are heading to Cumberland in Western Maryland to visit colleges for my brother. All of us are going to visit Frostburg (where my Daddy went to college) and more. Then Sunday afternoon I am going to visit my Aunt Janet and Uncle Chris maybe even my two year-old cousin Elizabeth with her parents Becca and my cousin Greg for a little family get-together. Spring Break is going to be pretty small for my family and I because we are only going to stay a night in Cumberland, go to a college, and head back to Arnold Monday afternoon. I have some homework to do but only a small amount to do and probably just writing in this blog more. Of course I am going to play on the Wii for a while each day during Spring Break, YES!!! Hope everyone is having fanatastic Spring Break, have to go to bed soon- 10:00 p.m.-LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here and I haven't been blogging since over a month ago!!! I have been busy with many things (MSA, homework, schoolwork, projects, chruch, etc.) The Maryland School Assessment (MSA) has been over for only a couple of days and I took the Language Arts MSA last Tuesday and Wednesday & Math MSA this Tuesday and Wednesday. WHEW!!! I lot of work to do for these gignatic tests!!! I am so glad their over for good this year and I am even more excited that the first day of Spring tommorow, March 20th!! Even though this is my least favorite season, its still the months where all the flowers blooms and warm weather kicks in. The only thing I hate about spring is my pollen allergies start to come back & I have to take Clartin and nasal spray to keep my noses and ears from getting irriated and clogged, GROSS!! Spring is awesome though and I still love it for what it brings to everybody. I still can't believe that its March already and the last day of winter, AMAZING!! I just started the " Twilight" series yesterday and its pretty good but its 498 pages so I have a long way to go!! My school MRMS hosted a National Junior Honor Society meeting today in Marlin Hall and I went because I have a GPA OF 3.50 or higher and I got the appilcations for my parents and I to fill out, if I make though I will to the ceremony on April 29th and be in the exclusive club of NJHS. BUZZING WITH EXCITEMENT!!!! I have to eat dinner (pizza), so have to go, bye, LOVE YOU ALL!!

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here blogging to you viewers on a Friday morning! I meant all of you have heard about the blizzards in the little state of Maryland and our last blizzard just stopped yesterday!! Maryland is a SNOW CITY!!!! Our last blizzard about a week ago didn't knock out my family's power and when our heat went off it wasn't the blizzard that turned it off. The two blizzards Maryland got left over 2 ft. of snow and get this, the part of the state I live in (which is Arnold) suffered most of the two HUGE blizzards snowfall. The two blizzards have been in the news for over a week and most of my relatives are saying were lucky because my parents, brother, and I are not going to school or work for the whole week!!! My dad took some pics outside yesterday and then he sent all the pics to our relatives in other states and two of their family friends. My dad titled the e-mail Let It Snow...Let It Snow...ENOUGH ALREADY!!! Talk about TOOOOOO MUCHHHH SNOW!!!!! The two blizzards made the headlines of the all the newspaper stations in Maryland and everybody is beyond glad that the blizzards are over, (at least they hope!) One last thing before I wrap up this blog entry, I got my two wisdom teeth pulled out last Wednesday and missed only one and half a day of school and the rest I've been enjoying the week and three days off from school!!!! The bad paart is that the more snow days the more its extending in the month of June so right now school is over on the 21st of June, BUMMER!!!!! Hope everybody in the state of Maryland has been enjoying the time off from work and school, see you all later, have to brush teeth, LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

My Fav Science Subject

Hope you like this picture of the solar system! I find space so interesting!!! Even during the summer before 7th grade began, I did a power point on the Sun, galaxies, the 9 planets, and beyond them. My brother thought it was great I was doing a power point during the summer and so did I!! I lost the power point though because our computer (brand is Dell) crashed again and lost everything. No worries though and I am pretty sure I am going to do a power point on space during the summer again before 8th grade. LOVE YOU ALL!!

Hey everybody it's pinkroses here blogging to all of you on a Saturday morning!! I have a ton of news to tell everybody, here it goes!! Firstly, all the Benchmarks that I took this week, I am mostly finished with. I finished by Science, Math, Social Studies, and Intro to French benchmarks but the only two tests I have to finish are Tech Ed and Language Arts. Yesterday in Science everybody in my class got their science project papers back. (All the science projects were graded using rubrics.) At my whole table I was the only one to get 100% on my science project that and I was the only one in my class to enter the " Science Fair." Thirdly, I am taking a break from studying so hard this week and going to see a movie with my Mom today. The movie we are seeing is called the " The Lovely Bones" based on the book by Alice Sebold. I am still reading the book and almost done reading but I'm seeing the movie anyway just to enjoy myself. My very last news of the day is that yesterday my family and I got our plasma TV, WOW!!! The TV is looks beautiful in the addition and so does the Wii, (we hooked it up yesterday and put up all the games today.) OOPS!! I almost forgot to tell everybody that I am off Monday and Tuesday from school, YIPPEE!!!! Anyway, my Mom and I are leaving soon to see the movie, so blog to everybody soon, LOVE YOU ALL, BYE!!

Hey everybody it's its pinkroses here and I haven't blogged for awhile but I wanted everybody to know how I was doing. I have no more news on the " Young Authors' Contest" but I know that it went to county and is be graded, I HOPE I WIN!! My unique ability to write stories for fun didn't come from anybody in the family tree and not even my parents!!! That's all my news on the " Young Authors' Contest" and since I didn't blog over the Christmas and New Years' break about what happened I'll blog to you right now. My family and I stayed home for Christmas and New Years' and I got a bunch a presents form Santa (yes, I still believe in him), Mom and Dad, and my brother Sean. For the Wii I've had for over a year, I got Sing It: Pop Hits, Wii Sports Resort, Mario and Sonic at the Bejing Olympics Games 2009, and World War 2 Aces. Actually my brother got Mario & Sonic and World War 2 Aces but I got the other two. My other presents were three books ( one from Mom and Dad and two from my brother), 2 $25 gift cards form Borders, $75 Justice Gift Card, $25 iTunes Gift Card, 1 webkinz, Vera Bradley purse, red and white scarf & hat too, socks, and World Z00 for the DS. WOW!! Now that I think about I got a lot of gifts, I'm very joyful about this. Hoped everybody had a great Christmas and New Years' and have to brush my teeth, so, bye, LOVE YOU ALL!!!
